Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account, making it more resilient against unauthorized access. 2FA requires a second form of verification, usually a one-time code, in addition to your regular password. Follow these steps to enable 2FA on your account:

Step 1: Log in to the App

Open the app on your mobile device and log in using your registered email address and password. Ensure you use the official app to protect your account's security.

Step 2: Go to Your Profile

After logging in, navigate to your profile or account settings. This section typically contains personal information and account preferences.

Step 3: Access Security Settings

Within your profile or account settings, locate and click on the "Security" option. This is where you can manage the security features of your account.

Step 4: Enable Two-Factor Authentication

In the "Security" section, find the "Two-Factor Authentication" or "2FA" option. Click on this option to enable 2FA for your account.

Step 5: Activate 2FA

Upon selecting "Two-Factor Authentication," you will be prompted to activate it. Click on "Activate 2FA" to proceed with the setup process.

Step 6: Download an Authenticator App

The app will provide you with a QR code that you need to scan with an authenticator app. Go to your device's app store and download an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy.

Step 7: Scan the Barcode and Enter the One-Time Code

Open the authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed on the app or enter the provided key manually. The app will generate a one-time code for your account.

Step 8: Submit and Verify

Enter the one-time code generated by the authenticator app into the app or website where you are setting up 2FA. Click on "Submit" to complete the process.
