Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring more than just your password when logging in. If you lose access to your authenticator app or recovery code, you’ll need to reset your 2FA. The process is simple and can be done right from the login screen.
Steps to reset your 2FA
When logging in, you’ll be asked to enter your 2FA recovery code.
If you have the recovery code that was provided when you first set up your authenticator app:
Enter it
Tap Confirm
Once you the recovery code is confirmed:
We’ll send a verification code to your registered phone number to help you reset your 2FA
Enter the code and tap Confirm
You can also choose to receive the code via WhatsApp:
Select Receive code by WhatsApp
We’ll send the verification code to your WhatsApp number
Enter the code and tap Confirm
Once you’ve confirmed your identity, your old 2FA setup will be removed. You’ll then be able to log in with your password only. The next time you access your account, you’ll be prompted to set up 2FA again with your authenticator app to keep your account secure.
However, if you don’t have your 2FA recovery code:
Tap I don’t have the recovery code
You’ll be prompted to reach out to our support team. Tap the button to speak with a team member, and they’ll guide you through the steps to get back into your account.
